Dr. John Hatcher
John Hatcher returned to NASA on a part-time basis in May 2005. After graduating from the University of Texas Dental Branch in 1985, he completed the US Army One Year Advanced Educational Program in General Dentistry in 1986. He then served for four years as a general dentist in the Army's dental clinic in Bad Kissingen, Germany. From 1990 until 1994 he worked for NASA before entering private practice in Pasadena, Texas. He has been married for twenty years to his wife Desire. They have two children, John Michael and Jaclyn.
