NASA announced formation of a group of scientists to examine potential Space Station activities, with the aim of reducing the time between experiment concept development and publishable results. Chaired by Dr. David C. Black, NASA Headquarters Space Station chief scientist, the group was made up of scientists and researchers from NASA, the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, universities, and the private sector.
