The US Air Force Space Plane, later designated the X-20 and built under contract by Boeing. Derived from the original Sanger-Bredt antipodal bomber concept drawn up during World War II, the Dyna-Soar went through a multitude of design iterations before being cancelled just short of completion in late 1963.
