Robert C. Truax delivers a lecture to the membership of the BIS in London. Truax outlined the details of rocket research being done in America. One of the things he revealed to the members was the decision of the American Interplanetary Society to change their name to the American Rocket Society. Truax also explained the workings of his water-cooled motor to the gathering. He also talked about his new ceramic linings for combustion chambers. The gathering concluded late at night at an Oxford Street restaurant.
