John Cavallaro

John Cavallaro is a private consultant for Eaton Corporation and Forensic Engineering in Raleigh, North Carolina. The first two years of his career he worked on the Space Shuttle program in avionics testing for Rockwell International, under contract to NASA. During this time he learned about the intricacies and processes of the space industry. He later worked for IBM, Exide Electronics, Carolina Power and Light, among other firms, expanding his knowledge about electricity. His experience in electrical application design and power is varied and encompasses all aspects of the industry. An amateur rocketeer and astronomer, he has a deep understanding of space and space flight. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in physics from Queens College of the City University of New York, and a master of science degree in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He and his wife have three children and reside in Garner, North Carolina.
