The British Interplanetary Society held an informal meeting. At this meeting a long discussion takes place on how to rebrand The Bulletin of the British Interplanetary Society. Eventually the members voted for the name "The New Columbus". The organ of the Cleveland Rocket Society entitled "Space" was held up as a model for the new Bulletin.
