Dawn Brooke Owens

Pilot and space enthusiast, Dawn Brooke Owens currently serves as the director of Team Relations & Special Projects for the X Prize Foundation. Her most recent projects included overseeing the production of an outreach and education program wherein students created full scale replicas of the historic SpaceShipOne that was awarded the $10 million Ansari X Prize. Previously a research historian for NASA JSC, Ms. Owens holds a bachelor of science degree in aerospace from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master of science degree in space studies from the International Space University. Ultimately, Ms. Owens' goal is to facilitate the translation of her dreams of spaceflight into reality in the near future.
