NASA announced that the National Remote Sensing Agency of India (NRSA) had agreed to build a ground station at Hyderabad in south central India to receive data directly from NASA earth resources satellites -Landsat-2, as well as Landsat C (scheduled for launch in March 1978) and Landsat D (scheduled for launch in 1981)-and to offer India and neighboring countries the practical benefits of remote-sensing technology.
