A Federal grand jury indicted Samuel Johnson, president of Nor-Cal Supply Company in San Leandro, California, in connection with the sale of faulty aerospace bolts to commercial airlines and government aviation agencies, including NASA. The charges resulted from a major investigation by the FBI and the Defense Criminal Investigative Service. (SF Chron, Oct 19/94)
