Abstract

ECSA (European Centre for Space Applications) is a recent created consortium of small and medium enterprises and research or university institutes which has the aim of assisting consortium members to undertake space related studies, research, application projects and in general any activity related to space exploration and exploitation. The rationale for its formation and its current activities are discussed.
