USAF launched an unidentified satellite from Vandenberg AFB using a Thor-Agena D booster. (Aero Tech, 12/18/67,10)

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would conduct first worldwide computerized exchange of nuclear data under $100,000 pilot program, Kathleen Teltsch reported in the New York Times. US., U.S.S.R., and EURATOM would supply indexes of new atomic literature, patents, university theses, and conference papers which IAEA would program for a computer. System was expected to store more than 100,000 entries, each including title, author's name, key words in English, and an-abstract. (Teltsch, NYT, 12/11/67,27)
