02. How is vision affected? (A K2S Question)

The occurrence of cataracts, or clouding of the lens of the eye, is higher and occurs at an earlier age in retired astronauts than in people who have never flown in space. The exact reason for this is not clear, but it may have something to do with the cosmic rays and solar particle radiation in space.
