33 members of the newly incorporated British Interplanetary Society attend lectures in London by Eric Burgess, "Principles of Rocket Propulsion" and Arthur C. Clarke, "Communication in Space." Clarke's lecture discusses communication methods and potential difficulties and the use of radar and pulse transmission.
