The first air show in Canada and the first international air show in North America gets underway in Montreal. Organised by the Royal Automobile Club it draws several thousand people to a field near Pointe Claire to see Wright Flyers and Bleriot XI aircraft. Pilots from the USA, Canada and France compete for prize money.
