Release C15-048 NASA Awards Contract for Administrative Support Services
NASA has selected Hanks, Hanks and Associates, LLC of Washington to provide professional administrative support services at the agency’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama and its Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans.
The Center Administrative Support Services contract award resulted from competition under the 8(a) set-aside program for small businesses holding a valid General Services Administration federal supply schedule mission oriented business integrated services contract.
The contract begins on Jan. 1, 2016 with a one-year base period, followed by four one-year options. The performance-based, firm-fixed-price contract includes a mission services value of $26.2 million and an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity portion with a maximum value of $3.1 million. The potential total value of the contract, including all options, is approximately $29.3 million.
The services provided by Hanks, Hanks and Associates will support Marshall’s Office of Human Capital and cover a wide range of administrative support services including clerical, administrative and records maintenance efforts. The company will provide the necessary management, personnel, equipment and supplies not otherwise provided by the government to fulfill the requirements of the contract.
