Bioclimatology of Manned Rocket Flight, Konrad Buettner Ph.D.

It is at this conference that von Braun first unveils his idea for a toroidal space station. The proceedings are published by University of Illinois Press under the title "Space Medicine" edited by John Marbarger who subsequently goes on to play a large role in the animal experiments during the Mercury test program.
