Germans tested A-3 rocket with 3,300-pound thrust which served as basis for military weapon specifications.
The Journal of the British Interplanetary Society published Volume 3 #1 with an article by Peter Van Dresser editor of Astronautics, the journal of the American Rocket Society about rocket development in the United States. He described the rocket committee as comprised of John Shesta, Alfred Africano, G. Edward Pendray, Nathan Carver, Carl Ahrens and Van Dresser. Other report covered experiments planned by Willy Ley in the United States to build a rocket-propelled aircraft.
