Dornier DO-X, 12-engined German flying boat (which carried 169 passengers on its trial flight), arrived in New York after flying the south Atlantic.

A rocket propelled glider is flown by William G. Swan at Atlantic City New Jersey. The glider weighed 200 pounds and was equipped with ten rockets. A second flight took place the next day with 12 rockets.
