The October issue of Nova Terrae a British science fiction magazine is published under the joint editorship of Arthur C. Clarke and Edward John Carnell both of the British Interplanetary Society. This is the first issue of Nova Terrae to be published in London. Shortly after this a London branch of the Science Fiction Association is formed by Carnell.
