The October issue of Novae Terrae a British science fiction magazine is published under the joint editorship of Maurice K. Hanson, Arthur C. Clarke and Edward John Carnell all of the British Interplanetary Society. This is the first issue of Novae Terrae to be published in London. Shortly after this a London branch of the Science Fiction Association is formed by Carnell.
