The Eternal Wanderer a science fiction story by American Interplanetary Society founder Nathaniel Schachner appears in Astounding Stories magazine.

Maurice K. Hanson publishes #8 of Novae Terrae magazine in England. The issue advertises an impending science fiction convention. This would be the first such convention held in England and would be attended by Edward John Carnell and Arthur C. Clarke who would, along with Hanson, go on to chair the British Interplanetary Society.
