Novae Terrae was a science fiction fanzine created by Maurice K. Hanson and Dennis A. Jacques in Nuneaton England in 1936. The magazine in this form lasted until January 1939 (Vol 3 No 5) during which time Arthur C. Clarke and Edward John Carnell also contributed time as editors and contributors. It would later be resurrected after the war as New Worlds, going on to be the longest lived science fiction magazine in Britain, surviving in one form or another until the 2000s. Novae Terrae was published concurrently with the Bulletin of the British Interplanetary Society in its last two years and members of the BIS were all regular subscribers or contributors.
