Yuriy Petrovich Artyukhin; Lieutenant Colonel, Red Air Force; born 1930, Pershutino, near Moscow; married, two children. Attended Serpukhov Air Force Technical School, served in the Air Force for several years, graduated from Zhukovskiy Air Force Engineering Academy (1958), and joined the cosmonaut corps in 1963. He was the flight engineer on Soyuz 14/ Salyut 3.
