NASA SETS NEWS CONFERENCE WITH SHUTTLE AND SPACE STATION CREWS
HOUSTON -- The 12 crew members aboard space shuttle Atlantis and the International Space Station will hold a news conference at 5:25 a.m. CDT on Sunday, May 23. U.S. reporters may ask questions in person from NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and the agency's headquarters in Washington. A portion of the news conference will be set aside for Japanese reporters. To participate in the news conference, U.S. journalists must call the public affairs office at one of the three participating NASA venues by 5 p.m. Friday. Reporters not already credentialed for the STS-132 mission also must request access badges by 5 p.m. Friday. Reporters must be in place at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the news conference. NASA Television will provide live coverage of the 40-minute news conference. NASA SETS NEWS CONFERENCE ON ASTROBIOLOGY DISCOVERY; SCIENCE JOURNAL HAS EMBARGOED DETAILS UNTIL 2 P.M. EST ON DEC. 2
WASHINGTON -- NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 2, to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life. Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe. The news conference will be held at the NASA Headquarters auditorium at 300 E St. SW, in Washington. It will be broadcast live on NASA Television and streamed on the agency's website at http://www.nasa.gov.
