Unnamed USAF satellite launched from Point Arguello, Calif. The announcement said it was powered by an Atlas-Agena B combination and that the satellite was "carrying a number of classified test components." NASA selected Air Products & Chemicals to supply additional liquid hydrogen for west coast development projects, a $35 million contract to be negotiated for a 5-year period.
