[edit] Abstract

The discovery of a large number of objects orbiting beyond Neptune has been one of the more exciting developments in astronomy over the last decade. Because of their large distance from the Earth, many of these are very faint and learning about their physical properties from ground-based observations is very difficult and makes them good candidates for space missions to explore. Unfortunately the large distance also makes space exploration much harder, but by no means impossible. In this paper, we describe what is known already about the region and also discuss which of the known objects are both interesting enough to be visited and in locations that make this exploration easier.
