Rocket scientist Albert E. Schuler died of natural causes at the age of 83, the third original member of Wernher von Braun's rocket team to die in the same week. Schuler had retired from NASA in 1969, after a career overseeing measurement of instrumentation on test stands and rockets during static firings and overseeing flight instrumentation, guidance, and control on rocket flights.
