NASA Administrator Richard H. Truly announced the appointment of Thomas J. Lee as Director of the Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama, effective immediately. Lee succeeded James R. Thompson Jr., selected by President George Bush to be NASA Deputy Administrator. (NASA Release 89-108, Jul 6/89)
