NASA named William W.L. Taylor of TRW Corporation as the Chief Scientist for the Space Station Freedom Program. Taylor, who was with NASA until 1978 when he joined TRW, was the third person chosen for the two-year assignment and the first from industry. (NASA Release 90-61)
