A series of books published between 1960 and 1968 by noted journalist and commentator Shirley Thomas, featuring biographies of some of the preeminent space scientists of the era. Published in eight volumes by Chilton of Philadelphia. Thomas worked through a list of 450 names to condense her books down to the following candidates.
