For the fourteenth time since August 1985, the launch of a weather satellite that the Air Force had hoped to put into orbit was again postponed, this time because of a leak of liquid oxygen. Past delays were caused by technical problems with the Atlas-E booster rocket and its payload and scheduling conflicts. The satellite was next intended to be launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on August 30. (LA Times, Aug 26/86; NY Times, Aug 26/86)
