President Nixon had sent Dr. James C. Fletcher, NASA Admin­istrator, a letter praising NASA's contribution to the Administration pro­gram to assist minorities in finding a profitable role in the U.S. economic system, NASA Activities reported. (NASA Activities, 1/15/73, 6)

Seventy-seven Florida firms had received $182 633 000 in prime contracts awarded by Kennedy Space Center during FY 1972, KSC announced. KSC spending in 12 other states had amounted to $2 536 000. (KSC Re­lease 9-73)
