Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Space Industries Company announced their partnership to build a $250 million, permanently orbiting space facility for scientists to perform research. The 14.5-foot-diameter 35-foot-long cylinder would provide a "shirt sleeve" workplace that would benefit a host of industries. (P Inq, Sep 30/86)
