North American Rockwell Corp. Downey Div. announced receipt of $5 500 000 contract from Air Force Systems Command's Space and Missile Organization (SAMSO) to build one- of-a-kind satellite for late 1973 launch. Spacecraft would be orbiting base from which quartet of instruments would gather scientific data for several Government agencies. (NR Release)
